Spherical Roller Bearings have barrel-shaped rollers between the inner ring, which have two raceways, and the outer ring which has one spherical raceway. An oil groove and holes are provided in the outer ring to supply lubricant and the bearing numbers are suffixed with W33. Spherical roller bearings accommodate misalignment between the shaft and housing without increasing friction or reducing bearing service life.
BMD Manufacturers a wide variety of Spherical Roller Bearings that are available in either stamped-steel window-type cages or precision-machined-brass cages with a wide variety of sizes and configurations to meet the requirements of demanding applications.
Spherical Roller Bearings can take, not only heavy radial loads, but also some axial loads in either direction. They have excellent radial load-carrying capacity and are suitable for use where there are heavy or impact loads. BMD can manufacture SRB with tapered bores which may be mounted directly on tapered shafts or cylindrical shafts using adapters or withdrawal sleeves.
